MatrixHCI has extensive experience recognizing real live ATC transmissions. Because of this, we have the capability to develop ATC training and simulation systems that are more realistic and more closely represent real-time conditions when in an actual aircraft.

We have hours of ATC-to-pilot and pilot-to-ATC audio that has been captured by our mobile audio recording studio at major airports throughout the US.

This data can be used to build acoustic models from real world environment and situations vs static stages ATC and pilot recording simulations. By using real live audio to build these models, and also injecting real cockpit noise and acoustic characteristics, we can build and design ATC simulation systems that offer a more realistic training session.
